Considering that with love buff, Chrysalis defeated Celestia in 15 seconds ( what I still think was to fast, even if they tried to prove a point that Celestia is not invisible, they would give her a decent fight before she would go down ), fight against Twilight who not only is four time smaller, but also a unicorn, Twilight does not stand a chance, this fight is just totally one sided.
"Hold on a second longer, Twiley!" Shining Armour hissed as he aimed down the sights of the anti-material rifle. One shot, he has one shot to save her sister from annihlation by the Queen of the Changelings, or worse.
Outwardly, he focused on his target on the scope, adjusting for wind, gravity, and other factors. Inwardly, he focused on his anger, his hatred, for Chrysalis. Hatred for what she had done to him and his family - brainwash he had endure, the humiliation he helped dealt on his own sister, the shame of having failed his duty to defend his real wife, and Canterlot from invasion.
Anger and hatred gave him strength, gave him focus, gave him resolve, and as he pulled the trigger, gave him the satisfaction of finally getting his revenge.
He pulled the trigger, and he felt the gun stock heave into his shoulders and his ears assaulted by a mighty crack of thunder as the gun roared and fired its .50 caliber round.
Distracted by her attempt to kill the weakening defenses of Twilight Sparkle, Queen Chrysalis never saw it coming.
For Twilight, what followed was at first a confused mess. Chrysalis cackled and hissed as her emerald arcane beam slowly pushed back Twilight's own, random arcs of lightning boiling from the merging point.
Then came an echoing, booming CRACK--the unmistakable sound of a high-powered rifle.
Next, Chrysalis' cackles abruptly cut off, like somepony had thrown a switch...accompanied by a very loud, very squishy noise.
This was itself punctuated by the Changeling Queen's magical assault halting, and an unspeakable splash of gore splattering onto Twilight's face.
Twilight opened her eyes just in time to see Chrysalis--a good chunk of her head missing--collapse to the ground.
"Good shot, Shiny," she breathed, even though he wouldn't hear her; her radio lost in the battle with Chrysalis. "I'll go into shock now..."
With that, she too hit the floor...a smile on her face.
The Changeling War was, for all intents and purposes, over. With the Queen dead, (and the rest of the Hive Royal Family either long since killed in the war, fled to parts unknown, or captured by Equestria and her allies), there was nobody left to lead the Changelings.
It was only a matter of time before an unconditional surrender was announced.
